Owner | Physiotherapist
Dr. Chris Fysentzou is the proud owner of Fysentzou Physiotherapy and Fitness. Chris graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s and Master’s of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the City University of New York. In 2012 he graduated with honors his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the prestigious University of St. Augustine in Florida of the United States of America.
He has worked as a clinical physiotherapist in the USA specializing in the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal and sports injuries. He is a Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and specializes in Manual Therapy.
He serves as the main physiotherapist in first division football and futsal teams, as well as other athletic associations. He has an active role in education as he was the director of a Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy degree and he is currently teaching at a Master’s degree and at the CY-OMT specialization institute of physiotherapists.
Apart from his involvement in various ‘Manual Therapy’ courses and physiotherapy conferences, he has been a member of various scientific committees, member of the board of the Cyprus Physiotherapy Association, member of the Cyprus Sports Physiotherapy Association, member of the American Physical Association and member of the GESY scientific committee for musculoskeletal dysfunctions..
Angeliki Katsiari

Human Resource Manager Angeliki graduated with honors from Kean University in New Jersey, U.S.A. She holds a degree in primary education and mathematics, and a Master’s in mathematics, science and technology. She has worked in the education sector for over a decade both in the U.S.A. and Cyprus. She has extensive experience in higher management, works well in a team and has excellent time management and multitasking skills.
She enjoys reading, having long walks with her family and relaxing when possible. She speaks Greek and English. She is a member of Fysentzou Physiotherapy and Fitness since 2019. |
Theodoros Apeslidis

Physiotherapist
Theodoros studied at Charles University of Prague, in Czech Republic . He specializes in Manual Therapy and he is certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist. He also specializes in Dry Needling, ergon technique and BFR. |
Nikoletta Christofi

Physiotherapist
Nicoletta studied Physiotherapy at the University of West Attica in Athens, Greece where she graduated in 2019. Nicoletta was an intern at Fysentzou Physiotherapy and Fitness and officially joined the team in 2020. She specializes in Manual Therapy, Ergon technique, dry needle and Clinical Pilates.
She enjoys biking, exercising and outdoor activities. She is a member of the Cyprus Physiotherapy Association. She speaks Greek and English. She is a member of Fysentzou Physiotherapy and Fitness since 2020.

Marina Gavala

Trainer
Marina studied Physical Education in Demokriteio University of Thrace in Komotini, Greece. She specializes in injuries in special population, corrective exercises, stott pilates and functional training.
Marina used to play handball for years and was a member of the Junior National Team of Cyprus. In her free time she enjoys cycling and SUP. She speaks Greek and English. She is a member of Fysentzou Physiotherapy & Fitness since 2015.

Dr. Chris Fysentzou is the proud owner of Fysentzou Physiotherapy and Fitness. He graduated from the American Academy of Larnaka and he serves our country as a lutenant in the Green Berets. Chris Fysentzou has graduated with honors and first in his class with a Bachelor and Master of Science degree in Physiotherapy from the City University of New York in 2006. In January of 2012 he graduated with honors his Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from the prestigious University of St. Augustine in Florida of the United States of America. He is Certified Kinesio Tape Practitioner and he specializes in Manual Therapy of orthopedic and sports injuries. He is a member of the Cyprus Physiotherapy Association, the Scientific Committee of the Cyprus Physiotherapy Association, the American Physical Therapy Association, the American Association of Sports Physical Therapy, the American Association of Orthopedic Physical Therapy, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.
Chris started his career in the United States of America where, other than the injuries and dysfunctions of every-day people, he worked and treated many elite athletes. In 2008 he returned back to Cyprus where he founded Fysentzou Physiotherapy Center. He also served as the head physiotherapist for the football and volleyball teams of Enosis Neon Paralimniou from 2008 until 2012 and ALKI Larnacas the season 2012/2013. From 2010 to 2012 he served as the Director of the Physiotherapy program of the University of Nicosia. In 2011 he fulfilled his dream and founded Fysentzou Physiotherapy & Fitness.

Upon completion of his studies, he worked in a rehabilitation center in Greece. He is an active basketball player at Enosis Neon Paralimniou. He speaks Greek, English and Czech. He is a member of Fysentzou Physiotherapy and Fitness since 2011. |

Marina was born in Cyprus. She studied Physical Education in Demokriteio University of Thrace in Komotini, and graduated in 2006. She specialized in Handball, swimming and rehabilitation for special conditions. She attended seminars for Injuries and Special Population Courses and Intensive Mat plus Courses of Stott Pilates.

Marios Louca

Trainer
Marios was born in Larnaca. He is a graduate of Intercollege Larnaca with HND and CYQ in sport and exercise science. He is also a personal trainer specialist from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and a Radical Fitness power trainer.
He enjoys kite surfing, wake board and kayak. He speaks Greek and English. He is a member of Fysentzou Physiotherapy & Fitness since 2014. |

She was born in Larnaca. She studied at the European University of Cyprus where she graduated in 2013 with honors. Maria has been an intern at Fysentzou Physiotherapy & Fitness since 2012 and after her graduation; she was hired as a full time physiotherapist. She is currently having seminars to become a manual therapist.
She is an active member of the civil defends corp. where she is a first - assistant. She is a member of Cyprus Physiotherapy Association and the Anti - rheumatic Association of Cyprus. She speaks Greek and English. She is an official member of Fysentzou Physiotherapy & Fitness since 2014. |
